Check out these exclusive new InTune guitar picks from Mike Dawes. These were produced for Mike’s US tours with Justin Hayward and needed to be diverse enough to support everything from fast country picking on his Telecaster, through to softer Hedges-esque ‘wacka-wacka’ strumming on the steel string.

The white picks feature the ‘Mike Dawes’ and ‘What Just Happened?’ text, whilst the black picks include the Panzai Panda image on one side.

” Everyone has standard medium thickness picks lying around. I need guitar picks that fill the gaps and allow me to create sounds and textures that are not as easy to produce. The black picks are extra thick, 1mm, I also had these produced in a matte finish for extra grip (plus, this makes them feel even thicker!) I use these for my electric guitar work mostly, where I need accuracy and security in my picking. Coming from an acoustic background, this just felt right, I find harder picks much easier to use on electric guitars.

The white picks are the opposite. They are super thin and have a smooth celluloid finish. I use these on my acoustic guitars to create big strumming sounds without a great deal of attacking noise. I’m a big Michael Hedges fan, and these allow me to emulate his ‘wacka-wacka’ approach to performance in open tunings.”

These picks also make great affordable gifts. Limited availability whilst stocks last.
