Thanks to the north american fans…

Okay, so the mechanised sky beast made it back to LHR and I finally made it to my own bed, after witnessing Germany’s ludicrous victory over Portugal on the good old BBC. I can hear JH’s Frankfurt-based tour manager taunting me across the channel as I type.

The last US tour was a huge success. I was supporting, and playing in the band of Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues. We hit the length and breadth of the States and a little bit of Canada too.

The US fans have always been great to me, in 10 months I’ve done 4 tours in North America and each one is more memorable than the last (put that down to the fairly basic principles of fading memory and time)

I have a fortnight away from gigging now, few 😉 but no rest! I managed to get some creative juices flowing whilst out on the road, lets turn these ideas into songs!

To all who came out to the gigs in the States and Canada, thank you! you were awesome as always and ever supportive. I’ll see you again soon, hopefully before the year is out.

The picture below was taken just after soundcheck in Tucson, Arizona on May 31st 2014. From the three of us, thank you! x

Just listened to you for the first time. You heard of Tommy Emmanuel? Give him a listen! And come back to Vancouver soon!

Mike – My wife and I attended the show in Nashville TN on September 10th. We really enjoyed your music! I work in a cube farm as a programmer and listen to instrumental music all the time through my headphones to help concentrate and to block out my cube mates. Your music is perfect! I picked up one of your CDs at the concert and have just ordered a second one (signed of course) to give to my daughter at Christmas. I’m looking forward to future releases! Thanks for sharing your talents with those of us whose only talent is the ability to listen.

Thanks for the compliment John! I hope to get back to Nashville asap. See you again!
