Come to Dubai! Amidst all the hype, the glitz and glamour, it is buzzing with local talented musicians, wanting to break away from exactly that. Venues have started popping up all over the city, showcasing local talent.
It would be really great to see someone of your calibre perform here, and inspire other musicians!
Come to Dubai!!

Just wanted to say you can come back to Vancouver Canada solo anytime! Really enjoyed your work with Justin and his tour and glad I picked up your cd , its amazing. It will sit along side Tony Mc’s and Julian Bream of my fave UK acoustic guitarists. Enjoy the trip home!

I treated my wife to the Justin Hayward performance at The Coach House because she’s been besotted with him since ~ 1967…we had no idea who this “Mike Dawes” guy was…until he was introduced by Mr. Hayward…
I left the performance feeling delight for getting to hear such an exceptional guitarist – live – in such a venue!
The following act wasn’t too bad, either…

Just sat beside you at Caffè Nero for a coffee this morning. Thanks for sharing the table. Thought you’d be as knackered as us after a night flight, so didn’t want to bother you.
After standing opposite Russell Howard at the baggage reclaim, it was quite the morning!

Ah yes, I was probably wobbly! Didn’t see Russell though, I did see Duncan Bannatyne at the same baggage claim once though, he was with the woman that all the papers at that moment were reporting about. Something about a mistress or affair. It was super awkward.
Mike Dawes is hailed as one of the world's finest and most creative modern fingerstyle guitarists.
His solo music, littered with nuances and micro-techniques, has seen him tour almost every continent on the planet. He has recorded with multiple grammy award-wining artists, featured on international film and TV and achieved over 50 million music video hits online.
Additionally, Mike tours as Justin Hayward's lead guitar player, performing Moody Blues classics throughout the world. Fans of Mike's work include John Petrucci, Steve Vai, and James Valentine of Maroon 5.
